Thokoza (Koos) Pedigree

THOKOZA born out of the Champ. Rydgeway Shumwari x Mushana Gomana, out of our 1st litter. Koos always has and always will have a special place in our hearts and our family. Up to the day she died she was the undisputed leader of the, ever extending, pack.

Anything or anyone who entered our household was accepted by her, whether it had feathers, wool, or scales. Once part of the family, it could count on her protection and her, sometimes uncalled for, care.

Many of the puppies born in our household were well equipped to enter the big world, thanks to the motherly lessons from Koos.

Also in the showing arena, Koos made her name well known. Many achievements were added on to her name; JWW [Youth World Winner] 1995 CW [National Specialty Winner] 1996 Many BOB, BOS and group winners and even a BIS were accumulated by her. At the top of her fame she was a well known ‘personality’ in the national as well as international dog press, featured in Our Dogs, Dog World, and the national magazines as Hondenwereld and Onze Hond.

We bred Koos 3 times and from these litters several of her offspring have accrued their own fame over time, both in showing and in breeding:

In August 2006 we had to part with Koosje, and we will miss her more then words can express.
